Eric Hayslett - Biography
Originally from the Midwest, Eric Hayslett became interested in music at a very early age. His experience includes singing, playing drums, bass and keyboard for touring gospel choirs and groups. Eric continued his musical education throughout high school and received a scholarship for the Chicago Musical College of Roosevelt University. He has since relocated to the San Francisco Bay area.
Eric has toured British
Columbia/Vancouver, Canada and the west coast with Zakiya Hooker
as her bass/keyboard player/musical director, toured with James
Armstrong, and filmed a documentary with John Lee Hooker. He is the Music Director and bass player for the Taylor P. Collins Band.

Through his production company "e2music", Eric produces various styles of music such as Adult Contemporary, Soulful R&B, funk, Smooth Jazz, Rock, Reggae, Contemporary Gospel and his latest being International/World Beat/Dance (Arabic, Persian, Italian, Turkish, German). He volunteered for ChildQuest International to produce the single "Keeping Hope Alive" by Danny Hull and John Lee Sanders. Eric arranged and recorded "It's About Us" with and for the Santa Clara Valley Children's Shelter, composed jingles for clothing stores, a cosmetics company, and a European bakery. Several of his productions have been aired on both radio and television.
Eric has founded a
publishing/songwriting company called "Nothin But A Thang"
and a production company "e2music." e2music specializes
in arranging, midi sequencing and pre-production. Equipped with
3 ADAT XT20s, Mac sequencer, drum machines, samplers, acoustic
drums, bass guitars, Neumann, Shure and Sennheiser mics, e2music
is your "One-stop Shop" from inspiration, creation to
production. As a solo artist, Eric has 3 releases; "Faith
& Fantasy" a holiday CD "Sounds of the Season" and
"Call Me".
